When you arrive in the village of Sava, immediately at the beginning of the village turn left towards Zasavska Sveta Gora. About halfway up, turn left for Va\u010de, a popular excursion point. You can cycle on to the Geometric Centre of Slovenia (GEOSS) and then on to Zgornja Slivna, where there is a lookout point at the Church of St Ne\u017ea. On the way back, follow the main road through Va\u010de towards Hoti\u010d, where about 300 m further from Va\u010de, at the large house and outbuilding on the left, turn left towards Boltija. After a short climb over a saddle, descend towards Ponovi\u010de. In Ponovi\u010de, turn right and finish the trail in Litija.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hints for connecting to neighbouring cycle routes:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Combining trails with paths on the Ljubljana Urban Region Recreation Portal Let&#8217;s go: Let&#8217;s go on Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Suitable for families:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The route to the heart of Slovenia is less suitable for family cyclists, as it is quite challenging. Only the stretch from Litija to the village of Sava, which runs along the left bank of the Sava River, is easy.
