Discover the Kneipp experience of the five pillars: food, exercise, water, herbs and healthy lifestyle! Walk the barefoot path, enjoy a tasting of Kneipp snacks and drinks and learn about the therapeutic effects of herbs. The 3-hour experience connects all five Kneipp pillars in a meaningful way and stimulates the activation of the senses, from the feeling of grass underfoot to the smell of fresh herbs, contributing to holistic well-being and balancing the body and mind.<\/p>\n\n

The experience takes place on a 3.2 km long thematic trail, which was awarded the best thematic trail by the Slovenian Tourist Board in 2018. The trail runs through meadow, sand, forest and other natural materials. Through a guided experience, participants learn about Sebastian Kneipp’s philosophy for a healthy lifestyle through all their senses. Other Kneipp therapies such as Kneipp cold water compresses, stork walking and hand baths can also be practised in the natural environment along the way. The experience thus offers natural reflexotherapy with direct foot contact with unspoilt nature. This preventive approach to health emphasises holistic relaxation and a sustainable experience. <\/p>\n\n

The guided experience runs in full between May and September. The rest of the year the experience is also available, but in a customised version. The guided experience is for 2 to 8 people. <\/p>\n\n

The experience includes two gastronomic elements – a welcome snack at the beginning of the experience and a healthy snack at the end, made up of local products from local farms to encourage the purchase of healthy, local products.<\/p>\n
