Charcoal Homestead Medved

The Medved Homestead is located in the village of Suhadole in the Oglarska Land, just one kilometre from Dol pri Litija. The homestead preserves the tradition of cooking natural charcoal and is the largest producer of charcoal in Slovenia. Take a look at the baths and how they are prepared! You can also buy charcoal.

The famous Charcoal Trail passes close to the homestead, and the surrounding area offers a range of natural, cultural and historical sights, as well as a beautiful view of the Dolenjska region.
