Jablaniška dolina

The picturesque villages on the right bank of the Sava River, along the Jablaniški Creek and the Reka Creek are inextricably linked to nature. There is a bat roost protected by Natura 2000, the Jablaniški Creek is home to the (piškur-obloustek), and the Sava River is home to endangered birds such as the (žagarica).

Meadow orchards create a characteristic landscape. In addition to the famous churches, there is a granary, a greenhouse and a traditional fruit drying kiln. The important archaeological sites of Roven and Cvenger are also located in the valley.
