Jarški dom na Mali planini

Jarški dom na Mali planini (Spring House on Mala planina) is located on the southern side of Velika planina (Big Mountain), the largest still-living pastoral mountain in Slovenia. At an altitude of 1520 metres, the summer garden of the home offers views of the shepherd village and the Ljubljana basin. The chalet is an excellent starting point for the less than half-hour-long journey to the Chapel of Our Lady of the Snows and other attractions of Velika Planina.

Open all year round, the chalet offers stews, sausages, home-made sourdough cheese strudels, bagels, wraps and other seasonal dishes. For larger groups, an appointment is advisable!
