Organic farm excursion Pr’ Blaj

The Pr’ Blaj excursion farm is located on a rise in the land below the Kampl hill near Litija, and is a stop on the way from Zavrstnik to Janče. It is only an hour’s walk from Litija to Šmartno. Guests are treated to lunches, steaks and homemade desserts on weekends, and in winter to farm feasts with homemade blood sausages, roasts and pork shank. The food is organically produced. The farm breeds Bohinj cows, an indigenous Slovenian breed. Especially in winter, you can also buy salami, pancetta, bratwurst, sausages and other homemade delicacies to take home. Children’s playground equipment is available in the garden.

The farm is a popular excursion point for hikers, who like to hike from here, with views of the Kamnik Alps, Kum, the Čemšeniška mountain, the Zasavska Sveta Gora, Primskovo and Obolno, and all the way to Snežnik, to the Mahlin farm and to wander through the nearby forests full of wild berries.

Open: Friday to Sunday from 10 am to 10 pm, weekdays by arrangement; also suitable for private parties!
