A 58 km long mountain trail with 13 checkpoints leads through the places of the (rokovnjači) people, once famous bandits, which can of course be walked only in parts. The highest peak on the route is the 957 m high Špilk, and the Reber lookout tower is particularly attractive. The Rokovnjači were military deserters who fled into the forest rather than serve the then 14-year-long military service during the Illyrian provinces in the early 19th century. In popular lore, they are considered to be a kind of Robin Hood, taking from the rich and giving to the poor. The municipality of Lukovica also has a handkerchief in its municipal coat of arms.
