Opened in 2013, the Pavle House Museum is the central place for the preservation of cultural heritage and folk traditions in Krašnja. The house houses an ethnological collection, a memorial room of the poet Peter Levac, objects made of knitted straw, photographs and documents.
In Pavlet’s house, members of the Fran Maselj Podlimbarski Cultural Association give demonstrations on straw plaiting, which can be used to make straws, biscuits, slippers or even jewellery, by prior arrangement. As in the past, they pass the time with singing, conversation and interesting stories from local history. Make an appointment to visit!
