Tourist farm Pr’ Lavrič

The organic excursion farm Pr’ Lavrič in Malih Selah, near the GEOSS – Geometric Centre of Slovenia (GEOSS), offers local cuisine, a stop for 3 camper vans and a small space for tents.

The farm has space for parking a bus for groups. Inside there is space for 50 people and outside, under the greenhouse, for over 100 guests. Picnics, lunches and, on request, a farm party are organised under the old 1879 greenhouse. The farm also offers beds in three rooms (for up to 20 people). The catering offer is dominated by freshly prepared homemade specialities: roast lamb, roast pork and veal, roast chicken, turkey accompanied by vegetables grown organically on the farm. The menu includes home-made cured meats, stews, jota, goulash, homemade cabbage, veal stew with buckwheat or buckwheat groats, strudels, potica and other seasonal dishes. In winter, koline (roasts, blood sausages) are also available. You can also buy dried meats to take home.

The farm is a starting point for visiting nearby attractions such as the GEOSS Memorial, the GEOSS Adventure Park, historic Vače, Zgornja Slivna with the Church of St. Neža. There are hiking trails nearby, or take a guided tour of the nearby sights with the Kolenc Family Theatre.

Open: Friday to Sunday from 9 am to 9 pm and by appointment; for large numbers of visitors, prior arrangement is advisable!

In 2014, the offer was extended to children aged 5 to 12, who can enjoy an unforgettable stay on the farm. The stay lasts 6 days and includes:

• sleeping in tents (in rooms in bad weather)
• learning about the farm animals
• farm chores
• socialising among the children
• making a campfire
• hiking on the surrounding trails
• various workshops sports and board games
• other activities to be agreed with the children.
