The Situla of Vače is the oldest Old Slavic symbol from the period between the 6th and 5th centuries BC. It was discovered in the village of Vače, close to the geometric centre of Slovenia, at an extremely important Iron Age archaeological site. The situla is preserved by the National Museum of Slovenia, and an enlarged replica of it has been erected on the spot where it was found. Combine a visit to Vače with a visit to Geoss – the Geometric Centre of Slovenia!
