The traditional homestead in Dol near Ljubljana is the last remaining example of a supply centre along the former freight and waterway along the Sava River. Campers are also welcome at the homestead, which offers accommodation, authentic home-cooked organic cuisine and plenty of different rural experiences.
Stay overnight in an authentic rural environment, enjoy home-made organic culinary delights that you can also buy to take home, take a self-guided or guided tour of the homestead, which also houses a special ethnological collection, and have a picnic by the stream or in the meadow. Learn about life on the farm and take part in farm chores, or go on an equestrian tour of the surrounding area. You can organise a private or business meeting, event or seminar in the striking surroundings of the stately 19th-century house. The homestead, which is an excellent starting point for discovering nearby attractions such as the confluence of the three rivers, the Vega Trail, the nearby hills with their views or the Erberg Pavilions in Dol, is also the venue for occasional ethnological and equestrian events. It organises cultural evenings and exhibitions in Gallery 19.
Open: by prior telephone appointment all days of the week.
